About us, and how we work
Lancashire 1 is a specialist clearance and cleaning service covering the whole county, from Market Street in 1.
Our approach
We take the view that a cluttered home is a practical problem to be solved with the person who lives there, not a spectacle to comment on. Every clearance starts with a conversation, and the plan we agree is the plan we follow.
Dignity matters because it changes the outcome: people who feel respected stay involved, keep what genuinely matters to them, and are far more likely to maintain the space afterwards.
How clearances are planned
We assess by photographs, video or a visit, then set out in writing which areas are cleared, what is retained, how sorting works, what happens to waste and whether cleaning is included. Where the work needs several visits, we agree the order and the dates in advance.
Confidentiality
We do not discuss a property with neighbours or third parties, and we only speak to a relative, landlord or professional if you have asked us to. Photographs are shared only with the person who instructed us.
Environmental responsibility
Where practical and agreed, reusable furniture and household goods are separated for donation and recyclable materials are separated from general waste. The remainder goes to authorised facilities, and disposal records can be provided where they apply.
Our team
Our teams are briefed on discretion and on working alongside support plans and safeguarding concerns without pressuring anyone. We turn up when we say we will, and we quote clearly.
Privacy
Information you send through the enquiry form is used only to respond to that enquiry and is not sold or shared for marketing. Please do not send highly sensitive personal, medical or financial details through the form.
Cookies
This site uses only what is needed to work correctly. Any analytics or embedded-map cookies will be listed here before launch.
Terms and conditions
Quotes are based on the scope and access described at assessment; significant differences found on the day are discussed with you before extra work is carried out.
Accessibility
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA principles: keyboard-navigable, visible focus states, semantic headings, labelled form fields and text that does not rely on colour alone. If anything here is hard to use, please tell us and we will fix it.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, call 0800 494 7220 or email hello@lancashirehoarding.co.uk and we will respond in writing.
